Double nickel birthday

Happy Birthday To A Wonderful Father
May 20th, 2011

Thanks for all that you do,
many more to come!
I love you, Dad.

Everyone loves a fun wedding

Group shot- waiting for the bride and groom to make their exit.

Well on May 7th, 2011 two good friends of ours, Lindsay and Jacob, finally said "I do." They had a beautiful wedding at the Methodist church in Alexander City and continued to Jacob's families house for the fun reception (No one wanted to leave).

After looking through pictures the next morning it seemed everyone enjoyed it a lot.

On a side note: I gained a wonderful sister, yes, which she has been married to my brother, Ryan, for a year now. (High five guys, you made it! Now more happy days to come) But I was notified at the wedding this Saturday night that yes, indeed it is ALL about her. So in most pictures captured at the wedding included some thing or some part of her.

Examples below.

I'm not the one the to be the center of attention, so I give her all the shine she would like-- including my pictures.
And if you think for a minute I'd replace her? Heck no, not for one second. I could not ask for a better sister. I guess I should thank Ryan or maybe Dad, Mom, Mr.Dick, and Mrs.Wanda.

Blog Slacker

Well I've been out of town and trying to enjoy my time off of school until summer classes start, which has completely taken me away from my blogging plus I've been in "lazy" mode since finals.

All my true followers have been on me-- since my life is so fascinating.

I've been a beach bum this past week and to be honest I enjoyed every minute of it. Every morning we'd sleep in, have breakfast, and then throw on our suits for a day in the sun.

Also, a big treat for us was every morning and afternoon a school of dolphins would pass our way. I tried to capture some in pictures, but they were just to quick for me. I thought they were neat from a distance, but everyone had a laugh at me since I am a little afraid of the ocean and would not wonder to far into the deep blue sea. (sorry, if there is something in there that is larger than me, stings, or bites is not my cup of tea)

Some nights we headed in to get ready and had a nice dinner with the group, which led to Flora-bama for a good time.
Most of the girls on the trip

After dinner some nights we would hit up Flora-Bama for some good drinks and great music.

We owe Hannah and her family a big THANKS for letting us join her to celebrate her 21st birthday for a week in Gulf Shores. Everyone had a blast and made it home safe and sound.

New love.

I got this book yesterday while I was in Auburn so I'd have something to enjoy on the beach next week. My sister n law told me it was a great book(and also raged about the movie) and I have yet to put it down since I got it! I don't know if I'll have a book to read at the beach now, but that's ok....
The movie is next.

O.T.W

This eventful weekend was filled with Relay For Life, wedding showers, and birthdays.
Friday we all went out to the pool then headed to Relay For Life in Carrollton, which was a great turn out to help raise money and showed support from those who live in Carrollton and other parts of GA.

We love to pose, if you do not already know this

Saturday was filled with a early morning of spring pictures for the sorority, Chase and Brittany's wedding shower, and continued to Alex City to celebrate Jennifer's birthday.

This was our "beach scene" picture. The usual white tee's and kakis.

"Oh you're a Alpha Xi Delta?"

Well as I was laying in bed last week working on last minute school things and letters to go in the senior girls scrapbooks, Ashley decided to talk me into going to the last social for our sorority.
It was definitely a fun sight when we arrived at the Pub.
Little, Big, and Grandbig

Everyone loved that I supported the boot and showed dedication.

and me and Ashley.

Overall after seeing some of the girls the next morning and later on in day, the social was a complete success.

Good times for the seniors to look back on.
