"Get up or go home"

O.T.W- I enjoyed hanging out in Carrollton with some of my sorority sisters and hitting up downtown. The day started early at the pool and then continued to the bar later that night.

Big and Lil on the ride to the bar. "Get up or go home" is explained. Little to say we don't accept slackers.

My Grand-big.

One of my favorites, Whitney! She dragged me out.

Some of the girls out at the bar. I was in this, but the guy taking it obviously knew it just wasn't going to be a good picture of myself or maybe a bad angle.

St. Patty's Day

First Green Beer. Ever.

Jackson wanted to take a shot of me enjoying the delicious green beer.

We hit up some food before heading out to drink a little bit and celebrate the holiday. We ended up at the Dixie Tavern where the one and only Zac Brown started his career - I love some Zac Brown so it was a treat to me!

Overall I enjoyed my green beer, good music, and being out with Jackson for St. Patty's day. Nothing to crazy, like hitting up downtown, since it was on a Thursday just a very relaxing night out.

Wedding Season

Brand Wedding

Richard and Heather decided to get hitched! The weather was beautiful for an outdoor wedding. There was sunshine, friends, food, and drinks. What's more to ask?

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Brand

Christmas this year Ryan surprised Jessica with a "big" camera so she could shoot the memories professionally- I think she just wanted to be like me, but we won't go into that. She helped me capture the moment for my cousin Richard, which was nice and hey what's family for?

The Family

Everyone loves weddings because it brings family and friends together to have a good time! It was definitely a successful weekend that contained slumber parties, a pretty wedding, and a night with good friends.

New Obsession

ADELE

I cannot name that tune or artist in most cases, but this talented female singer has definitely won my heart over with her amazing voice and great choice of songs.

"ADELE is from a resolutely un-musical family. “It all comes from impersonating The Spice Girls and Gabrielle,” she cheerfully explains. “I did little concerts in my room for my mum and her friends. My mum’s quite arty; she’d get all these lamps and shine them up to make one big spotlight. They’d all sit on the bed.” Later, when her dad’s best friend, a dance producer, rightly declared ADELE’s voice ‘wicked’, he invited her to record a cover of ‘Heart Of Glass’. The first time she got a microphone in her hand, she realised her calling." (Part Bio off her main website blog.)

Here are some of my favorites off her albums ADELE 19 and ADELE 21!

"Cabs are here"

Apparently I have a new job that does not pay well. I have been a taxi for the past couple of days and to tell you the truth I didn't sign up for this.
Saturday morning I receive a phone call from my brother Clay saying him and Wade have been stranded in Jacksonville and need a ride by Sunday. Little did they know and actually they got a crack out of it, I was in Atlanta at Jackson's. I believe they just played a game to see who they could get thats farthest away from them to drive and pick them up! Being the good sister I am, I gathered my belongings, set aside my feelings of having a lazy rainy Sunday with my man, and headed down I20.

These are the two stranded. (Old Photo, but shows their lively personalities)
God love em'.

I also was not informed that I had to take the two all the way back to Alex City on the same day and thought I might have it easy and drop them off in Wedowee where I was staying for the week since it's my Spring Break.  No, from ATL to Jacksonville to Alex City BACK to Wedowee was my Sunday afternoon adventure. I love them though, so I'd do it again.

Maybe.

TOMS

As most of you know my brothers, my sister-n-law, and I are supporters of the TOMS shoes. Theses shoes have a very good cause and I believe is one of the best ideas to give children shoes that are in need of a pair. ONE for ONE is how the owner describes TOMS shoes. I have been scoping out the new selection and of course want some plain colored pattern since the random patterns alway draw attention to my eye.

You can check out this link and see why I rave about TOMS.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/36259451#36259451

This pair is in my future, even though they're not the original TOMS.

I was also reading up on the events that take place at TOMS and they have a competition to get the buyers involved and I came across where you can create your own pattern. After you submit your pattern, viewers vote on the best one. I must say I do love this months winner. They would definitely end up in my shopping cart.

If you have the urge to buy some new comfy shoes go check out the TOMS! It's for a good cause and you will fall in love with them!

Mathletes vs Athletes

I never thought I'd be in a old softball jersey heading to the bar, but off I went cleats and all. For our social last night we had to decide to be the geeks or the jocks. I would have loved to play the role as the nerd, but time was cut short and so off to my closet to throw on a Roanoke Skate Center throwback. If you knew my sports fanatic family, you'd understand.

Ashley, my roommate, came to me and needed to borrow a jersey since I'm known to wear my dad or brothers old baseball shirts. So as I was digging through my closet I came across an old Dixie jersey from when my dad coached. Little to say Ashley and I were covered in Roanoke attire, which everyone got a kick out of it.

My sorority family minus Katie Thomas!

Many of the girls in my sorority are very creative and always stir up the best ideas for themed socials. A couple of the girls went as the Average Joe's off one of my favorite movies Dodgeball. They always go above and beyond the characters with the shirts, head and wrist bands, and high socks. Little to say they definitetly had my vote as best costume award!

This is a little team huddle before we left the house.

It ended great and it's a night to put in the books.
