Cupcakes and Cocktails

Saturday night I had such a fun shower with some of my closest friends.

We had delicious cupcakes and fabulous cocktails.

All thanks to my 3 hostesses Jessica, Caitlin, and Hannah!

They were wonderful hostesses

Everything was so great and I loved seeing everyone .. Now we are just waiting for the big wedding DAY! AHH. It's all coming and going so fast.

We finally got the toaster (the one thing Jackson picked out).
Thanks Jessica!

Few of my favorite girls.

My mama!

Cupcakes and Cocktails was such a fun idea for my friends and I!
Life if GOOD!

MD weekend 2013

Friday this cute guy rolled into town.

He was ready to get to AC.

Before we headed back to Bama we had to stop and get some of Jackson's favorite Mexican food and a drink.

Here's my fun drink to kick off MD weekend.

After we got back we dropped by Jackson's friend D.J. for a late night cruise on the boat.

True lovin' right there.

So fun to catch up with friends for a little while before we headed down to Raintree.

Fast Forward to Sunday (Saturday I had a bridal shower and Jackson went to see his Mimi)

My favorite couple. I love these crazy birds.

Here he is...

MD is never a let down.
Always a good time... too good of a time for some.
You know who you are.

Everything was so great! Friends, family, and beautiful weather!
Now 32 days till we say I DO! WAHHOOOO!

Wedding Update

I finally got caught up on my wedding blog and it's still not great, but heck I can't handle one blog much less 2.

Its nothing fancy, but if you like to see a picture or two of me and Jackson, read up on the locations, or see the registries to buy us a fancy or as Jackson would say "high dollar" gift that's dandy too.

Wedding planning is fun, but it can have its moments. I've had some meltdowns along the way, but I wouldn't trade it for anything! I can't wait to marry Jackson.

I've been staring at envelopes for the past two weeks, sticking stamps, embossing away and sealing them up to be sent out. I've gotten most to the post office, but there is still some more I need to get done.  QUICK.

It's almost June so I'm on the ball now. Crazy how fast time has flown by.. I can't get over it.

In case some of you missed us being famous in a small town here we are:

We're in love guys.

I get to see this handsome fellow Friday.
Excited in an understatement.
He's cute, huh?

Also, today is my awesome dads BIRTHDAY so I
would love to give a shout out to my old man!
I love you daddy!

I've been a Daddy's girl since day 1.

Here's to another "50 something" years!
LIFE IS GOOD.

Kentucky Derby Shower

This weekend I had a Kentucky Derby shower.

Big hats, sundresses, mint julep, the whole sha-bang. It was so fancy. I loved it all and I knew the ladies from Roanoke would not let me down with a wonderful shower.

Nessa always leads the pack well. Love that woman.

My bridesmaids and friends seemed to enjoy dressing up and all sitting outside for a nice little lunch and yummy sweets. Everything was so great-- even if it did come a tsunami outside the night before, it all worked out!

All the girls after we pulled our charms.

Such a fun idea. My charm cake!

My two fav GA girls.

My mama.

My mom, me, and my future mother-in-law.

I got such great gifts, awesome guest, and wonderful hostesses. I couldn't be more blessed.

Side Note:
I have to say though.. I had two favorite guest that attended this Saturday (sorry everyone else):

My Grandmother and Mimi will always be my favorites.
I'm so glad I was able to share this day with them!

Now on to writing Thank You notes and countdown the wedding!
41 days and counting!

MD weekend is coming soon and that means Jackson will be home.
Life is GOOD!

Last time to get silly before I become MRS. LILLY

This past weekend the girls and I loaded up and headed to the beach for my bachelorette bash. Weird?

I. Love. The. Beach.

It was so much fun and such a great weekend to spend with some of my favorite girls. It's getting me excited for June!

We had great food, coolers always packed, and fun in the sun-- pretty much at the pool because the wind was a killer on the beach, but that didn't stop us from enjoying some rays and ice cold drinks.

I was constantly getting in trouble by "mall cop" though. He took his pool security job serious.
All work, No play.

First night: Animal Print at Cafe Marina.

Second night: Girls in all black while I wore white (because I'm an angel.)

Dinner at my favorite place in Destin, Harbor Docks.

My sissy even hooked us up with some super cute tanks.
Notice mine has my future initials!

As always the weekend at the beach came to an end way to quickly, but I enjoyed every single minute spent with my bridesmaids and great friends.

Now on to JUNE 29th. Yippee.

Side note: here are two pictures I received from Jackson the same weekend on his bachelor party...

I don't even want to know.
