Labor Day 2013

Labor day on Lake Martin is always a good time.

Sunday I loaded up and headed to Sissy and Ryan's house to meet them and then head on down to Point Howell.

We celebrated Lacey's birthday bash the right way with some ice cold drinks, good food, and floating in the lake.

I have to say it's never a dull moment with that group of girls. They really took me in after Ryan and Jessica got married, but marrying Jackson was the cherry on the top. I love them all.

They are always down for a good time and always have me in tears by laughing way to hard.

Sometimes it's scary, but in a good way...

I did not really get to snap a lot of pictures while we were on the lake, but I think this captures it all.

So beautiful!

I love being included to such a close group of friends.

  Makes life that much better to 

have such wonderful friends.

Change yet again..

Well I was in Denver and settled for a little over a month - living the married life - until I found out I was going to be able to begin Grad School this Fall at UWG.

..Week before school started I was packing up, figuring out this and that, and trying to come to terms with being separated from Jackson YET again. Bummer.

We haven't been in the same place at the same time. Ever. Our entire relationship has been me here and him there, and me there and him here. So in a way we are "prepared" for something like this. Unexpected. Unlike most. Never enjoyable. Great supporters I have to say.

I'm living at home with my lovely roommates again (my parents), Clay, and baby Buddy. I know they're thrilled.. While Jackson is staying in Denver finishing up the job he's on. We're hoping he heads south for the next job he goes too. Fingers crossed.

I started the MAT Special Education program this past Monday. Something different. So far.. it's been somewhat difficult, but I'm trying to stay ahead of the game and figure all these online things they are throwing at me.

Ashley, the girl who did my hair, was a free spirit with positive vibes.

She was interesting and very nice.

Jackson turns 29.

He wanted to golf for his birthday.

Visited the beautiful National Park in Colorado

He posed while I hung out the sunroof and took pictures.

One of my best friends, Jessica, got engaged to her high school sweetheart.

June 14th in Lagrange, GA will be fabulous. 

Of course I will wear the fabulous bridesmaids dress you picked!

She caught the bouquet.. now she's engaged!

We never leave each other without a good hug, bar crying, or a damn good time.

And I think thats about it..... Short version.

Now to get my husband back south.

He will be here in two short weeks for my birthday weekend!

I get what I can take. 

Time to get grad school done and live the married life with my favorite fellow.

Life is always good. 

Became Mrs. and Moved

Well June 29th has come and gone .. BOY! It was fun.
It went by so quickly.

I had such a wonderful wedding day. Everyone was so involved and loving while everything pulled together just right. I could not have visioned it any better.

Jackson and I are truly blessed with such awesome family and friends.

During the rehearsal dinner stories were told and happy tears were shed. We felt the love for sure. Perfect memory. I think I cried more in front of people than I ever have.. went straight to the heart.

Denver Life So Far:

Jackson and I have tried some restaurants, explored Cherry Creek, and tomorrow we are actually heading to Cheyenne to see my man Alan Jackson in concert.

Jackson's wedding gift to me was a "honey pot" (because I call him pooh and I'm his honeypot) and inside it were 2 AJ tickets just for us. He knows me so well.

I also got a beautiful bracelet with my new initials on it. My hubs is tha bomb.

Jack also sold his monster truck yesterday so we celebrated with some drinks. New Chapter.

BYE! 

It hasn't been a walk down easy street being 22 hours away from my family and friends. At all.  But Jackson has definitely handled it well with me and my "minor" breakdowns from being homesick.

On the Instagram world some people post a #mancrushmonday. 

Well, in the past I've posted Jackson because he will always be my man crush.

Today is a different story. I have another #mancrushmonday and boy is he C. U. T. E. 

Ready for my close up at the wedding, ma. 

This baby and I are going on 6 years and I've loved every bit of him being my dog.

When I say love.. L-O-V-E

People say I'm obsessed. 

I say I just love my dog. Is that a crime?

Sue me. 

He can be better than humans most

of the time. 

Dog lover. I can't help it.

I haven't really discussed the "M" word because it's 

happening in about two weeks, 

but I'm not only leaving my family and friends behind

I have to leave him too! 

It's going to be tough and sad.

I'll cry all next week probably. 

He will be my baby .. well until Jackson 

and I have babies

Then he will be a big brother.

Moving away from my mama, daddy, ryan, clay, jessica,

and my grandparents is 

going to be REAL hard and leaving him will

make it even harder!

I'll make it though. 

My husband will take good care of me. 

And they BETTER come visit.
