One Year weekend

We've had fun these past 4 years.

One year married this weekend.

Love you always Jackson Lilly!

I have a thousand photos I could post of Jackson and I that I love, but
I'll do us all a favor.

I've truly been blessed with an amazing husband, family, and friends.
Big changes have happened and big changes are coming.
Can't wait!

Thanks for putting up with me, Jack!

Life is wonderful.
Eat, drink, and love marriage.

Mom and Dad take on Texas

This past weekend Mom and Dad came with me to Texas.

They were suppose to come to Denver, but I came home. Grad school.

We did not allow them to come to WV because lets be honest….. it stunk.

So they finally made it to one place we've lived. T E X A S.

Friday night was dinner at a local BBQ spot that Jackson had found and a little resting from the trip out.

Saturday started early. Jackson and I headed over to the hotel to eat breakfast with the parents then we went to see my cousins brand new little baby boy, Ford. He's the cutest. Really.

After we left Hayden's we headed downtown toward St. Arnold's Brewery.

Little cup you got to keep.

The parents.

Next stop was TopGolf.
It is a fun thing to do with friends and families.

No skills needed… besides hitting a ball.

There is a bar and food to enjoy
while playing too.
What's not to love?

Jackson trying to figure it all out.

Dad, being dad, is giving mom lessons…
like I said all you need to know is how
to hit a ball, but that's the coach
coming out.

TopGolf is coming to Atlanta this
summer so if you're looking for something different to do
with friends and family - this is a fun option!

Sunday morning we decided to head on down to Galveston.
We are [s p o i l e d] from the FL and AL beaches.. It's just not the same.

The food is good and there are waves rolling in... So I'm not going to complain too much.

Somehow dad missed the selfie boat.
I'm sure he's sad about it…

Monday morning came quickly, as always, and I was
taking Mom and Dad back to the airport.

I sure do love them and I think Jack does too.
We loved having family here and getting to explore
new things.

Next week Jackson's family will be here
and I'll be back in AL.

Happy Friday y'all.
(Yes, I bought them because I love my little Buddy.)

Life is good.

"Ketchup"

Sorry, Sorry, Sorry… I've been a little tied up with going back and forth to AL, GA, and TX these last couple of months.

Grad school, home, weddings, seeing Jackson… it all gets tough and busy!

So here's a little of whats been going on:

June 14th one of my very best friends married her high school sweetheart in LaGrange, GA.
She was a stunning bride and Matt makes for a
very handsome groom/husband.

First dance.

All the girls getting ready.
Aren't the robes cute?
Thanks Jess.

3 best of friends.
The one on the right, Mallory, recently got
engaged and will be married next May!

Here's my forever groom.
He's a keeper.

It was a fun night for all.
Dancing, drinking, good food,
staying in hotels, and making memories,

Congrats Jessica and Matt Blackburn!
Your wedding was gnarly.

Sunday morning Jackson and I got up and ate waffle house in LaGrange and then went to round up Clay and Bryan - typical.

Daniel, Michelle, and the twins were in AC
that weekend so Jackson and I left Clay and Bryan in Roanoke
and headed towards Lake Martin to be the cool Aunt and Uncle.

windows down, country up.
It was a beautiful Sunday!

They LOVE riding on the gator with Uncle Jack
and Aunt Ali. We rock.

Jackson will be a great
daddy one day.

They loved the boat this year.
Last year was a different story.

This is Jackson and YaYa time.
Jack fed her "chicken" aka BBQ and
then she fed him.
She loves Uncle Jack.

I think Jackson needs a little girl one day.
Don't you?

It really was a wonderful weekend.
Always love Jack home.

Jackson left that Monday and then
my Parents and I headed to Texas that Friday!

Buddy misses me and I know
he missed Mom and Dad while they were here.
Love that nugget so much.

Life is good.

Hurricane Hamner

This past weekend I was in Nola celebrating my friend, Jessica's, "last fling."

We started saying Hurricane Hamner was rolling into Nola because it was pouring Friday and was suppose to all weekend - luckily it didn't.

Actually, our shirts stated "All aboard the hot mess express." Jessica was our conductor. Matt, Jessica's fiancé, works for the railroad so it fit perfectly!

It is always a good time when us girls get together. I forget how much I laugh when I am with them.

Friday night I actually had to snuggle in a double bed with Mallory and Caitlin. That's 3 people is a tiny bed. Not your ideal sleeping arrangement.  It was great we are actually close - if we weren't it would have be a w k w a r d….. it was somewhat uncomfortable, but turned into a hilarious ongoing joke.

Good food, great company, and yummy drinks. Can't complain!

Here's the bride.

And here is a group picture.
Love these girls!

Pretty in pink … and white!
Our bride loves pink.
Guess what color our bridesmaids
dresses are? ha.

Come Saturday night I was tired!
I am not use to these all nighters like we
did a couple of years ago.

Cait and I found a nice little couch in a lounge area
near the dance floor. Whew.

Love getting to spend time with friends since it's not an everyday occurrence like the old days. Stories were told, more memories were made, and one of our best friends is getting MARRIED.

I think her last fling was a success!

Sunday I loaded up and headed back to Texas.
I love being with friends and I love
getting back to my hubs.

I came home to a clean apartment and my
favorite flowers in a vase I bought a while back.
I think he missed me too? :)

Life is good!
