Birthday fun

Birthday's are always fun to me.

I celebrate mine all September.... or try to at least.

This past Friday Jackson flew in for my birthday weekend and little time at home to visit family and friends.

We stopped in Newnan for a bite to eat and then made our way back to the good ol' AC.

It's always go, go, go when one of us are home or both. I feel sorry for our parents.

Jackson woke me up Saturday morning with an early
birthday prize. It was a new camera. I've been needing
a small one to take places and he took "small" to a different
level. I love it. It can fit right into my pocket!

He thought I would want my birthday gift early since we were going to Auburn to tailgate and go to the game.

Jackson is a smart cookie. I love pictures.

Isn't he handsome?

me. clay. and kk

I found sissy.

tailgate fun.

Overall, great birthday weekend... but as always it ends to quickly.

Jackson and I headed out early Monday (my actual birthday)
for a birthday lunch before taking him back to the airport.

It's not easy living apart for this time, but we make it work.

Life is good. Love birthdays. And Love visits from the hubs.

Guess WHO?

Guess who I am getting to pick up tomorrow in ATL.

       THIS GUY  ^^^^^

Happy birthday weekend to ME.
I couldn't get a better birthday gift.
Love my cute man.

Gus Bus

Last Saturday dad and I went to Auburn to watch them play Arkansas State.

The atmosphere during football season is so fun and exciting. I love to just take it all in.

Dad and I decided to park and walk around and visit before heading in early to get some food and see the eagle, Nova, make her flight around Jordan Hare.

We also hit up the Tiger Walk.
Hey Steven, Hey!

It was h.o.t. but not as hot as they talked about the first game.

I saw some girls already in boots and thought I'm dying in flats and shorts so I know I'd be burning up!

Pom Pom in hand. Ready to kickoff!

It's so much fun to have such a wonderful place to go watch your favorite football team play.

It's even better to spend that time with the best Daddy!

Friday Fun

Mom and I decided to go to Birmingham to do a little shopping since Macy's was having their big one day sale.

That was a fail.

I guess I've turned into my mother, which is not a bad thing because she's pretty awesome. BUT I've learned that I hate shopping for a long period of time, trying on clothes is a negative, and I'm picky....

That's Lu when it comes to shopping.

I guess returning somethings from our wedding and a little mother/daughter time is good for the soul especially when you're a little down and out

Recently, Jackson found out he was not getting to come to Atlanta like we hoped.. West Virginia sound fun to anyone? Come visit when we move. ......... Please.

It'll all work out. I keep reminding myself everything happens for a reason. Jackson and I can handle it.

Like I said earlier, we have a wonderful support system and Jackson and I make a great team.

After Denver looks like he will be heading to West Virginia so I guess I'll meet him there and work out the kinks as we go.

On the plus side: I'm in search for a new vehicle for all this future driving I will be doing since I'm still going to continue Grad school. Nothing fancy, but nice. Reliable (quote from my father since he doesn't like me riding alone), and a little newer, but not brand new. Excited, yes.

"Happy birthday, I'm not moving home, BUT we can look for you another vehicle." -Jackson (In my own wording of course.)

ANYWHO,

Happy Friday Y'all.

Love,
Ali and Buddy

Labor Day 2013

Labor day on Lake Martin is always a good time.

Sunday I loaded up and headed to Sissy and Ryan's house to meet them and then head on down to Point Howell.

We celebrated Lacey's birthday bash the right way with some ice cold drinks, good food, and floating in the lake.

I have to say it's never a dull moment with that group of girls. They really took me in after Ryan and Jessica got married, but marrying Jackson was the cherry on the top. I love them all.

They are always down for a good time and always have me in tears by laughing way to hard.

Sometimes it's scary, but in a good way...

I did not really get to snap a lot of pictures while we were on the lake, but I think this captures it all.

So beautiful!

I love being included to such a close group of friends.
Makes life that much better to
have such wonderful friends.

Life is good.
